01/08/2013· We proposed a new concept of amine process design having multiple strategies applied where the heat duty in the stripper is as low as around 2.22 MJ/kg CO 2 which can be significant reduction considering that in conventional process (3.52 MJ/kg CO 2) and an overall energy penalty of only 8.1%, compared to 9.0% of the conventional amine absorber and stripper configuration.
